Anyways what struck me was when my dentist told me I needed a root canal and a dental implant, he kind of looked at me funny and said that I must have some sort of super-human pain tolerance to deal with having a cracked tooth for "a whole week". I couldn't help but look at him blankly and say "yeah I guess so" because having to tell him that I waited six whole months would probably give him an aneurysm.
