Ok so I know no one will believe me, but a really long time ago (like 10+ years) I worked with Redjuice on a visual novel and the guy did NOT understand perspective nor was he able to draw characters from any angle other than straight on, with this awkward facial stylization no one but him does. Even now he seems only capable of drawing faces from three angles: dead on, a very specific three quarter angle, and a dead profile. Additionally, these faces often have a pretty big perspective mismatch with the head, or the head has one with the body, not to mention most of his shading is complete nonsense. He's a great graphic designer and makes up for his weaknesses by always going for very dynamic compositions that rely on strong graphical shapes, but... I think the dude might not actually know how to draw.
