the distribution of detail doesn't look right in some areas. in picrel the hair has very solid shadow, highlight, and base color sections whilst on your image those colors are split up a whole lot. in contrast, the inside of the mouth in picrel is detailed while on your image it's solid white. you sometimes get solid white mouths in a minor frame in DYRL but for the most part it's slightly more detailed than that.
the way the face is drawn also throws me off in general, but that might just be jet's design not really being well-suited for mikimoto's art. it could be played around with more, maybe it could take more reference from male faces to give it more of a tomboy-ish look.
