>>66285090I usually have the ending decided and sometimes I have narrative checkpoints I set up. In Blackbean, there's three checkpoints before the conclusion. I can still have a lot of freedom to go where the winds of creativity take me but it doesn't leave me feeling paralyzed by possibility as a result.
These checkpoints are also somewhat vague so I don't have to forcefully move the plot around in order to make the characters take their places.
