>>98306751I'm the anon who originally requested the prompt, and to be honest, I wasn’t really expecting someone to pick it up. But I’m so glad that you did! I really enjoyed how you worked with the setting, the descriptions of your childhood with Mumei were really well done, and I loved how you overlapped the real-life situation with the in story one. The way events unfolded felt very natural, they carried the lugubrious tone to them, but it wasn’t just an instantaneous discharge of emotions. Instead, it was built up gradually, it emanated a very nostalgic feeling as Mumei’s mansion was explored and Kronii’s experiences with her unfolded.
This part, in particular, is a favorite of mine, i think it perfectly represents the atmosphere I wanted to read, and you delivered it beautifully:
>You tried to remain strong, and holding the delicate maid in your arms, you fell asleep on the bed. [...] someone nuzzling their head against yours? Something that felt like a person was trying to comfort you? Forget about that…that was in your head too.I really enjoyed reading it, and I wanted to ask, would it be okay if I crossposted it on /∞/? I think there are lots of kronies there who would really appreciate it as well.
