I'm 500% convinced the misalignment between the company and her was their goals, Mumei had no intention of continuing Hololive as her primary job while Cover could not accept playing second fiddle and being treated like a hobby she only does when she wants to. They couldn't come to a compromise since their goals fundamentally misaligned far too much so now Mumei is graduating.
