The fact Niji squandered all that goodwill and lost their two best talents is just the incompetence of corporations at work. She's now free to do whatever she wants in life with no regrets. Sometimes you can work hard at something and achieve everything you wanted and it's still not good enough to save bad companies. Don't tie your identity to that company's success or lack thereof, instead be proud of all you achieved.
