I've ran a good number of Nation Builders on /qst/ and have been admin for a couple nation RP's and generally the "put borders on the map when it comes up" strategy seems to work. The only issue is restricting land size since people generally try to make their nation big. We should probably make some sort of "province map" and let new people pick 1 to 3 when they join the game, with any higher a number requiring them to give a convincing arguing as to why they should have a higher number. We should also at least keep a vague plan of what nations should go where. For example I think we should keep Hololive nations restricted to the Holocontinent and Nijinations restricted o the Nijicontinent.
We should also probably get some official rules about how to treat unrepped, and newly repped, territory. as it currently stands we're currently praying that no one breaks any of the unspoken gentlemans rules on these.
