/vt/ was created because a cabal of /v/ and /qa/ posters who really wanted an eceleb board saw how fast /hlg/ and /hlgg/ where and basically used vtubers as a cudgel to demand the creation of their desired eceleb board via a bunch of flaseflag raids on /jp/ and /qa/, which lead to /hlgg/ and /hlg/ getting raided constantly and /jp/ having a flood of vtuber threads when the meidos would normally restrict us to one thread per company
Anyways after like a month of this the dai-meidos decided to take an action and created /vt/, much to the chagrin of /qa/fags since it a board dedicated specifically to vtubers, and they would raid this board a lot (which how we still have holdovers from that era like S*lenfag) until the meidos go tired of them and froze that entire board
Vtubers were never banned off /jp/ but >we willingly choose to move here because /vt/ had specific rules against posting doxxshit, which was fucking rampant on /jp/
