Alrighty, /Asp/. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna selfpost.
I'm Kazuma Cathode...! Your resident night-owl, listener of sounds, daydreamer of mecha-
Hello! Please consider anything you see of me right now as tentative, as I'm still learning and building! I'm quite worried that my model is too plain, even though I quite like it. Still finishing up small tweaks in Unity as I notice things, regarding facetracking.
I'm looking at editing something onto my hoodie to break up the black, but havent decided on what yet.
I've basically just gotten the bare minimum to get going, in my own eyes.
My theme is quite dark, the aim was to be easy on the eyes, as to mirror my own 90's and early 00's late-night TV/Videogame Nostalgia. I could not find a more fitting theme that I really wanted, and didnt want to worry about commissioning one yet, so I purchased the premade I have now.
I'm probably gonna aim to stream some fighting game stuff (SF6) while waiting for other 2025 releases.
Once I have an audience I'd like to explore some retro stuff I'd like to start collecting when I can scoop them for cheap (VHS/retro games from estate sales and my own collections, etc)
I studied media in various forms, and would like to talk about/make fun of Commercials and other types of Production once I have an audience, as well.
I know variety can be BAD thing when just starting out, but I'm looking at streaming 2-3 games as solid fall-backs for the channel once they're all out, other than games for collabs- others willing.
is that too much?
I also have a couple ideas for some youtube vids, but I havent written out much of a script for them, just ideas so far. Point being, I have plans for more than just streaming and posting highlights at some point. I'm told I'm a good singer, so maybe Karaoke someday, as a subgoal or something idk.
I think I'm ready to pull the trigger for streaming, I just gotta work up the courage to actually go live sometime in the next week or two. I wanna think about/write out some talking points and stuff.
Uhhhhhh.... What do you think, /Asp/? Sorry if this post is kinda hair-brained, I'm fried rn
