The boogeymen clique that everyone talks about are the ones that seemingly hold sway over management (pretty much everyone I listed except Foxy bakas for obvious reasons). Even Selen used to be one of the star children, favored by NijiEN management, right until she started making her managers actually do work and make herself seem like an over-achiever, which by JP corpo culture is considered antagonizing, especially when done by a woman. Selen wanting to foot the bill herself on her big events and even provide monetary prizes is considered bragging/flaunting her wealth in JP corpo culture. It makes her seem more important as an individual than as someone with the Nijisanji/Anycolor branding.
Point is, even the clique of management's favorites isn't infallible.
