The reason why a lot of girls are playing this right now is because they want to try a racing game that is not MarioKart, but their only option back then was only Gran Turismo and Assetto corsa, which is a full sim racing game and the details and difficulties are too overwhelming and gatekeeping them hard. TXR was always an arcade style racing game with unique SP battles that’s not time consuming and really easy to get into, just press accel and go, avoiding cars/obstacles and you win. You can use whatever dirty tactics you want because AI will use the same, It’s a streets racing, sportsmanship is not required. See? It’s easy and fun for the girls.
