https://files.catbox.moe/ybr8ox.mp4Basically, the default setting of most goldsrc applications, including Half-Life, Sven Co-op, etc is in mipmap_nearest, which was important for saving performance by blurring the textures together. And on old resolutions of 640, it really didn't matter.
But it's been 20 years, our machines can handle mipmap_linear to see how the textures actually are. It's like rubbing the vasoline off your goggles.
