Western culture leans toward simpler, tasteful designs. Clothing and game interfaces reflect this. Eastern culture has a tendency to load up on detail, which can lead to a cluttered look. Genshin, however, tries to blend East and West in their designs.
It's a time-consuming gacha that I don't care to play, but its success comes from its good design.
