I managed to get a really good start to a new schedule design and also helped to pick out some of the accents that i will be able to use in other elements down the road. picrel is what i got so far, it's far from finished but it's a good first step.
I also talked a lot about how to approach art and design, despite not being an artist myself i still know a thing or two about color theory and how to make an appealing design, by just observing the stuff. I almost spent an entire hour googling designs on stream and showing off some examples where you would find cool designs for both UI elements and characters.
I also colored in my sketch for the new model, because the artist asked for some color reference so what better way than to showcase some of the easy ways to do coloring in photoshop in a quick and dirty way that looks way better than it has any right to be. Again i'm not an artist i just cheat my way through with Photoshop.
I really enjoyed the stream today and maybe i even had one advice or another that might even have helped a viewer. If you want to listen to someone ramble about design and dick around in photoshop for 4 hours, i definitely got you covered.
