Doki was turned into an internet martyr, no one is going to get as much fame as her. And as I said the issue is cooling off, so it's doubtful that the casual fans who were circling the drama would be drawn to her.
Company definitely has some long-term problems, but I can see why Rosemi wouldn't want to Geronimo into an unknown abyss.

Also there's the risk of those being very temperamental fans, a.k.a they'll leave in a month. That's probably one more factor that has to be factored in this calculation. Trading 1.8k stable fans for 3k temporary fans that'd be 800 fans in 4 months is not a good deal.
