>>90098354>Why is this not more common in the hobby? It's the outcome of several years of trust being destroyed by retards, lets be clear from the start, hololive is the biggest fandom and it's where most money is moved, it's proliferation brought the vtuber boom of 2020 and the industry moved around them since then and being in any way hostile towards them will earn you a spot in the black list in the eyes of their fans as it would happen in any other place, through the years holo fans have had several grievances like the Aloe situation, like a vshojo member talking shit out of nowhere about hololive, the talent freedom thing, the hate marketing thing, the Pekora song thing, the all out war, etc. From the holo fan point of view outsiders have been trying to leech from them and bring them down at any chance they get and that would have been just console wars between fans that everyone can just ignore if it wasn't for the fact that talents from other agencies were directly taking part on it
>"b-but muh it was just a couple of retards, it doesn't represent the entire community!!!"True, but doesn't matter, it takes 3 or 4 retards to paint a picture and once you see a pattern you expect to see it again from their tribe.
How can you expect unity if the first thing you do is attack other agencies for no reason? Unity is a failed project from the start, it was born dead, It's natural for holo fans to have a negative response towards outsiders and a negative response to this from outsiders is also natural.
If outsiders are trying to leech hololive and bring it down the logical response is to cut ties with the outsiders and let them starve, tribalism became the answer and there was a point in time where it didn't have to be that way but we are beyond the point of no return, retards overplayed their hand trying to change things their way and that only caused an extreme opposite reaction that will take years to fix.
>tl;drIt's vshojo's, nijisanji's and indies's fault that tried to punch above their weight class to try to look like the cool kids, it didn't work, quite the opposite happened.
