>>88707232INT. LIVING ROOM - EVENING
(MIIA and MARI are back on the couch, this time holding old game controllers with frayed wires. An old-school Nintendo console sits on the floor in front of them, the screen showing the paused title screen of Super Mario Bros. They look focused, eyebrows furrowed in intense concentration.)
MARI
(squinting) Dude, remember, like, when games used to be, like… impossible?
MIIA
Yeah, huh huh. They were, like, so hard, it was cool. Now games just, like, hold your hand and tell you where to go.
MARI
(laughing) Yeah! Like, “Press X to jump.” I know how to jump! Huh huh huh.
MIIA
Yeah, like, Mario didn’t need any help. He just, like, ran and jumped on stuff. And he, like, stomped on turtles, and it was awesome.
(They pause to think about this in awe.)
