I think that Cooking for a Comet (and the second entry) is a bit basic and with the context of how the series went, could use a bit more bite to it. The serendipitous nature of the series is part of its charm but I feel like it could use a little more cohesion between entries. Part of me wants to do a remaster of sorts but the other part feels like its best to leave sleeping dogs lie.
The first fic I read here was Kintsugi and it was compelling and engaging enough to convince me to throw my hat into the ring. So it's okay I guess
I reread it recently and I still think it holds up, even if it just kind of ends without much fanfare.
