>>89124345Here's a secret for you - men (and people in general) who discuss and care about politics in order to tackle the "big important questions" of the world are only doing so because they're incapable of facing their own actual problems. "Problem" here is a very relative term ranging from the old no gf thing to personal issues of this or that sort. Since it's too hard and too painful to stare yourself down and come face to face with your actual issues men tend to project them outward into the world, blaming this or that political system or whatever else. The simple brutal truth is that politics, ideology and religion are utterly irrelevant to your wellbeing and success. It all begins and ends within, and the only effort and attention anyone should give is towards perfecting themselves. Not in an effort to be good or moral, but effective and as fully you as one can possibly be. It is an act of supreme egotism. It is absolutely necessary. You will at absolute best manage to save and fix exactly one person - yourself. The world can and will fix itself because that is its nature.
Why are people religious or "moral" or advocate for this or that political system? Because they crave outside control, a master, a whip, because they don't trust themselves. Even more they fear themselves, their urges, their passions and lusts. It's a pitiful state of things. The solution to it is not to fight any urge or passion, but simply to acknowledge it and accept it fully. This makes it into a friendly force, because Love and Hate are not opposites but two sides of the exact same force, and the same is true for everything else. There is nothing to fight for or against. Americans have yet to learn that the whole world is a stage and everyone in it an actor, and that it's pointless to waste time on that sort of theater.
