imo this is another case of weird phase connect divine intervention when god made something happen for a reason and put people where they needed to be. phase connect has had a lot of that, especially with origins being kind of fluke hired and that cast of characters they turned out to be.
i dont think when gen1 was hired they knew then that they would help each other make some of their dreams come true and change each others lives.
