Lae-Dee focused on indies and even if she had favoritism, she wasn't biased like False was.
Co-Dee was a no-nonsense reporter for Hololive Japan, also had a dry sense of humor I quite liked.
Hai-Dee, though... She was a complete workhorse who looked at every single small corpo in the space and deserved better.. I'd argue she left because her effort outpaced the rest of the team, and once she was gone & False joined Mythic, there was a fucking nosedive in quality.
False's problem is that he's a literal egomaniac, he treats all of Nijisanji like a lolcow to farm and milk and when that well runs dry he switches to covering month-old stories, going after indies and ignoring actual drama that his platform could help provide objectivity to.
It wouldn't be a big deal if TVS was watchable but it's not anymore. I used to unironically drink my morning coffee to the episodes, now I don't. Why? Because if you scrub the timeline, it's basically just False. Sure, the other segments are there, but False is so fucking obsessed with being the center of the show it no longer feels like a comprehensive Keeping Up With The Joneses for vtubing. It's no different from Khyo or Rev Says Desu, just with marginally more production value.
False was always a self-important douche who switched to algorithm bait because his own vtuber career never took off, but this year really revealed that he's just a shitty guy and I genuinely hope his remaining co-hosts jump shit, maybe start an actual news channel that doesn't rely on DramaAlert-tier clickbait and instead commits to be informative and fun. If nothing else, do it for her.
