>>54653637Bijou played into being a loli because that's what her character is and she knows that a lot of people who are going to watch her are going to be into lolis, she respected hololive tradition and her senpais (didn't try to reinvent the wheel or go against the flow for no reason), she put a lot of emphasis on establishing her fanbase and making people want to be her fans, she has good humor and her debut was just well thought out in general.
I was pleasantly surprised with it. Subbed to her immediately afterwards.
Shiori's was...well, the immediate elephant in the room is her voice just doesn't match the model. Then, her presentation felt confusing, like she didn't know what she wanted to do. It had elements of GFE but then there was the confusion at the end with regards to collabing and who she'd be collabing with. She had a husbando list, which I mean for me didn't bother me but others it did. Sorry I'm probably doing a really bad job at describing this, it's just the whole video left me confused, i don't feel like I learned much about her and at times it felt awkward. Like she has this really chill waiting screen + music but then when the video starts she says (also in a chill voice) "is that all you guys have, you can do better than that get hyped more" or something along those lines and it just felt so fucking awkward. I dunno man, I think it was a bit of a train wreck.
