>>23609006Modern day storyline in any ac game was shit back then and it's shit now(at least they "killed" Layla, good fucking riddance, there is god after all). Actual story of 2 is good - characters are charming and fun, the arc Ezio goes through is amazing. Actual story of odyssey is good, every quest and activity is based on greek mythology and history, it's fucking great.
My favorite story is IV's, the shit my boy Edward goes through... and the ending is absolutely beautiful, makes me tear up after every single replay.
And let me just say, you'll hate me for this, but this is the truth - all mainline AC games are good. How good - it varies, but they're all good.
