I've read the replies from the last thread. Looks like DaVinci is really the best option for clipping, however,
I'm still on Windows 7. This is probably the biggest motivation now for me to upgrade from my old laptop.. It also requires no actual account, as some noted.
I tried Openshot, and that was nothing but a mistake. I did 4 clips, but couldn't put subtitles or render anything without the program freezing.
So I just went with Filmora instead. As far as my 0 experience with editing software goes, it's not actually bad, as I could at least place subtitles. Had to get the free trial to remove the obnoxious watermark, though.
