My issue with shure is that it is quite pricey in my 'literal who' country, which makes both shure and UMC22 cost a bit over 200 together, and I don't want to reach the 180-200+ window, so I thought I would buy Q2U and UMC22 together as I still want an XLR microphone.
I've been trying to find BEHRINGER XM 8500 here but it's not in stores, so finding something like Q2U was a miracle. I have been watching Podcastage reviews on the microphone and I found Q2U easier on my ear (at least). But of course, I am still paranoid if this mic will randomly break or actually turn out to be a long-time worthy (which shure seems to be good at), sigh.
