These companies live and die on the backs of the talent driving viral marketing, and sometimes it's just one outstanding talent that raises the level of engagement for everyone else.
Hololive is so big because it has a BUNCH of those outstanding talents that all create a critical mass of virality when taken in combination. Gura was the eventual peak of this phenomenon but long before EN ever debuted they had Miko, Fubuki, Korone and others making huge viral splashes.
If there were a half dozen Pippa's in the same company they would skyrocket to success. It's all talent, baby. That's the entire industry. Get. The. Right. Girls. After that you just have to be mildly not-retarded about general business and management shit, and I really need to stress the mildly part, because Cover corp is not even particularly great at it, they just somehow sidestep the kind of yabs that keep burning everyone else down.
