Alright, so as I mentioned in previous threads, I've been following the numbers of Vox's Cookie Run stream (which had a pretty obvious worm at the start) for the past 36 hours or so.
Susan still hasn't finished verifying it yet, but at this point I don't expect the numbers to change that much, so I'm just gonna post the numbers I have here. This was a sponsored stream, but I don't really think that will affect the algorithm used for VOD verification.
Essentially, the increase in this VOD's numbers is consistent with the growth observed in typical VTuber VODs (with maybe 500-1000 views getting culled). The graph having a worm doesn't seem to add any additional view culling from Youtube's end.
So - assuming we can trust Youtube to remove illegitimate views (which seems to work 99% of the time) - at the very least we can safely confirm that a VTuber graph with a worm at the start is NOT the result of Viewbots/Viewfarms.
The graphs being suspicious as fuck does not change, but we will have to find another explanation for it.
