Let me preface this by saying that all we have, like most Hololive fans, is the words of the talents themselves. So you can really only base things of the information that is given to you, which leaves a lot of uncertainties.
We know that they are hungry puppies and accepted every single opportunity that arose for a while. We also know that these things are planned months in advance, based on other Holos talking about recording voicepacks or lines for events months later when they came out. We don't know when or even if they started being more reasonable and turning stuff down.
It could be that what we're seeing now is just really bad timing, the culmination of everything they did before Japan and after up until when/if they started turning stuff down. With 3D and BD and Anniversary, it's all just coming to a head at a really bad time. The problem is, it feels like it's been that way for months but that could just be a result of the insane amount of work they said yes to in the past. It just feels really shitty ever since they moved, or "Season 2" as some people call it.
The question then is twofold? Did they actually stop? And will things really get better in September as they said? Or are they just coping and setting unrealistic expectations for themselves and their fans again? They always said sleep and schedules would get better once they were in Japan. They did not. If you go back and look, they would make small jokes and laugh about how their sleep hasn't improved even since Japan, those small jokes aren't funny or cute anymore, they seem symptomatic of the larger issue of FUWAMOCO not knowing how to manage themselves effectively.
This is where your mileage may vary. Either you accept that this is all just them reaping what they sowed months ago and they have actually learned their lesson and things will get better in September. Or the worse option: they never actually learned and kept accepting things but they thought they could manage it better so in their minds they weren't lying about things getting better. They were just lying to themselves about their own limits. They're in Hololive. They'll never starve. But individual fans might be fed up with this, because it's hard to watch people you love be self destructive, even people you love as much as FUWAMOCO. Every fan has a different rope, and if you've reached the end of yours, I can't blame you, just please leave quietly and don't schizo out about it. Personally I will wait and see but man it feels bad.
