>>55779203We can't do that on 2k22, but we can on 2k23.
It's a mod.>>55780382The event had pretty good response. There were some obvious criticisms I've already addressed, like commentary quality and match spread, but for the most part people seemed to enjoy the event.
>>55781249FLOWS is one of the options we have on the table, and will likely be used in some form.
>>55782874It will depend on what we do with the event. 2k22's servers are still up, and we already have a lot of work done already in 2k22, so we can recycle a bit.
One of the options that I've previously talked about is focusing the Winter LotB on the Tag Belts, while the Summer LotB focuses on the Singles Belt. If we did that, we would almost definitely not move to 2k23 for LotB2, because 2k22's tag matches are better and don't take 3 hours. 2k23 has better access to mods we can utilize, but those mods come at the cost of non-insignificant production time, which we would already be short on due to having to start from scratch in a new game.
It's not as easy as just turning on 2k23 instead of 2k22 for the stream. It's a tough call either way.
>>55782981No. Servers are closed and I can't make every CAW.
>>55789153>More singles, less FFA. Limit entrants if you mustI will not be imposing a cap on entrants, but I may impose clear-cut restrictions on who can and can't enter. One of the issues we ran into with LotB1 is that some people tried to register threads that are banned on /vt/ or not /vt/ threads at all. The issue had to be bandaged in a short amount of time, so this time we'd like to avoid that by being clearer from the start. It is possible some smaller threads, threads that struggle to stay alive, or threads that aren't particularly relevant to /vt/ may be culled as a side effect of the clearer rules. More news on this as we get closer to sign-ups.
