>>41189307I was definitely baiting interest a bit to elaborate. I think its on topic if nothing else to warn other anons that its a bad idea.
Off the top of my head:
One guy who has decent niche internet clout and was in the community for years sexually assaulted a femboy in a hotel room while plastered drunk and then the next day loaded up a girl on tons of drugs and alcohol and raped her with another guy.
Another guy (who was otherwise kinda chill) got into a drunken fistfight at an anime convention when a guy in an elevator didn't share his waifu. The blood stains were in the concrete of the hotel lobby for the next 2 days.
Women tried to sleep their way into the moderation team and were horrible and bitchy to each other like you wouldn't believe.
I caught a rape accusation from a woman on there when she dragged my black out drunken ass to her bed unconesntually and then woke up in a panic bc she cheated on her boyfriend and needed to cover it up. Was i raped? Probably. Does anyone give a fuck? No.
Lots of petty doxxing too.
I did meet one of my best friends through it and had some fantastic memories so it wasn't all bad. But unless you have a mod team that really knows what they are doing and are okay taking risk, it will devolve into a shitshow faster than you can blink. And before anyone gets any ideas, no, (you) can't handle it. You might think (you) can, but (you) can't. The power will get to your head first before anything.
