>>40708514It's actually modern /vsj+/ after the fall of the great vshojo empire because of hiatuses + boyfriends on stream 24/7 with some small migrations from /wvt/:
Because they had nothing else to watch, /vsj+/ started discussing indies associated with vshojo, and the rapidly expanded their territories well into /wvt/ turf, including some /here/ chuubas. Some of them, like Saruei, had so many fans they were starting to drown /vsj+/ discussion. Frogposters had a rightful place in there, but there were so many other viewers started to hate them. They refused to make threads of their own or to move to /wvt/, so there was constant strife with them. This was the first crack.
The /vsj/ expansion also gave an opportunity to barbarians to slip their chuubas in, the greatest of which was The Tobs tribe. Tob had no place in /wvt/, for they only loved /here/ chuubas, and those who wanted to shill her decided not to lose time in a thread full of schizos and chuubas and instead go directly to the fertile lands full of viewers heartbroken because their oshis keep streaming with a welshman 24/7, even if she didn't even had the one requirement to be a +, which is being raided by a vshojo. They banned Tob posters many times but this changing nothing. The raids would continue day and night, for Tobpsters are both autistic and merciless.
Finally, a crisis point was reached when they started discussing an indie called Nemu. It was a sign the rapid expansion will not stop until it covered the whole upper scene, and conflict with /wvt/ was inevitable, for Nemu was beloved in the lower worlds.
"Why not come discuss Nemu here?" Claimed the /wvt/s, but /vsj+/ would not come. This was the first time they incursion so deep into their territory, and something had to be done, or war would begin.
To solve this issue, a buffer zone was created will would be nor /wvt/ nor /vsj+/. These three tribes, the Saruei posters, the Tobposters, and the Nemuposters, would have a kingdom of their own instead of being asked to move to /wvt/. To avoid turning into /wvt/2 and their sea of schizo /here/ posters, /#/s were called in to redact their OP: the only thing these three had in common was their numbers, so their numbers would be the unifying force. This would prevent it for turning into a new /wvt/ while providing a means to expand so it didn't end like /vsj+/ once the main chuubas went into hiatus. The numbers were both a filter and a giver of identity.
Very early on, Anyaposters poured in, always eager to create new gardens. They suggested changing the name from "General" to "Global" and helped bumped the threads during their darkest hours. As thanks for their services, Anya was considered an honorary indie and was part of their first divegrass team. A few of them still remain now there.
At first of course viewers refused to move but /vsj+/ was under constant attack of schizos and their posters never felt welcome anywhere in the boards, as is expected of a thread that includes Nyanners in their rotation, so I can only guess experiencing even briefly a thread without conflict was too inviting. Some the /wvt/s too grew tired of the schizoing from spurned 0view chuubas and moved as well.
With time, it grew larger than /vsj+/ and /wvt/ ever were, and became the third power in this board. It suffers from schizos of course, like any thread, but it will never get as bitter as a vshojo thread in the middle of a holo board or a modern /cgl/ board filled with catty anime women instead and 0view /here/ tubers.
