Many of them are presented as idols, who traditionally are women that have many talents and are followed by desperate losers mainly in Japan. Vtubers are just streamers who were selected because despite they are behind a L2D or a 3D avatar, they feel closer to their audience and ironically feel more organic. Pekora is a variety streamer with a unique ability to generate ineteresting contents from thin air. Nobody in the vtubing scene can do what she does almost every stream, maybe Miko and Korone but in a lower rate. She isn't the best player, the best singer or the best artist, but that ability I mentioned puts her on the top of the list for obvious reasons
