Hello liggermen it's once again that time of the month for the top vtubers for the previous month. I have expanded from top 20 to top 25 as the bottom slots the last few months have been hyper competitive. The other major change is this month I have started to combine Youtube/Twitch cross streams into the numbers and made the total the number for vtubers who multistream. There is the possibility of viewer cross over on both streams however historically that hasn't proven to be the case, usually youtube viewers and twitch viewers do not multi-stream drift the same stream. This decision has lead to Kirsche making her first appearance in the top list. Onigiri's numbers were manually counted out and her numbers after her flesh streams for the month were removed, Dokibird and Mint Fantome's Numbers were their monthly average CCV obtained on playboard.

Notes:
>As expected, the numbers were stronger in the earlier parts of august and then fell off a cliff for most streamers after school/college started up. This is usually the standard for each summer and that makes 3 summer I've tracked this has always occurred. Despite this, most vtubers stayed within 5% up or 5% down of their usual averages so the hit was less dramatic this year.
>With several months of tracking, it's safe to say the two ex-Nijis Dokibird and Mint not only kept a large hunk of their audiences, but grew them. As most of the other Ex Nijis have jumped into other corpos, it's been nice to see those two have sustained success at the top level of indies.
>Neuro, Olivia, and Cottontail are your biggest names with upward movement. For Neuro it was more of a correction after a slow month in july, Olivia has been contiuning her climb she has had most of the year, and Cottontail had a lot of very well placed and well timed collabs with both larger fleshstreamers and vtubers that have seemed to pay off for her.
>Numi hit a down of 11% but there was something interesting in the numbers here regarding it: She had extremely strong showings at the start of her subathon, the first few days averaging between 3.8k-3.5k ccv, however as time went on the ccv dropped worse and worse, and by the time she hit the official end of the subathon she was encountering a drop off of nearly 1k viewers. This once again supports the theory that prolonged uncapped subathons do not increase viewership beyond the first week, and in fact cause a viewership fatigue for everyone but die hard fans.
>Shondo suffered a post return buff dip but that was expected. She is very consistently at that 2.1-2.5k ccv range though and I believe it's fair to believe she will be at that range comfortably going forward.
>In other ligger news, Lyra (301 ccv, up 34%), Mint Castella (437 ccv, up 31%), Nemu (294 ccv, up 29%), and Charlotte (111 ccv, up 21%) all had positive movement upwards in viewership
>The last topic I want to discuss is Nyanners, who for lack of a better term is in a total channel death spiral. She's been losing double digit viewership in ccv every month since May (overall loss currently of 16% ccv per month every month in that stretch) and is having a difficult time cracking 2.5k most streams now, which while still solid is a far cry from her golden days. Worse, her overall follower number is actually actively going down. For the year she is a -638 net followers, which means she has lost more followers this year than she has gained. Additionally, it's not just her: Lord Aethelstan has been in a massive tailspin as well, going from someone who was a 2.5k+ CCV streamer this time last year to currently barely breaking 1k CCV (his ccv this month was 1,220 ccv and his follower growth is also non-existent). Their relationship seems to have slowly drained both of their channels of viewership, which is frankly stunning to see. I don't know if these two pull out of this, it's possible one or both of them finds the magic solution to stop all of this, but only time will tell to see how this ends.
That's all I have for you this month liggermen. I will catch you all later.
