When asked for examples people will either point to Sana (who has graduated, and is just tanned), Oga (who is Okinawan) aaand that's it.
There are no popular Black vtubers, female or male. The few that are, have been systematically kept out of corpos and are only brought up in the indie sphere for representation points.
No one seems to actually care about dark-skinned avatars unless it's to sexualize or virtue signal. If you're Black, you have a permanent debuff as a vtuber and this is just... Fine? Why is this?
