>>99901564That is very true, as someone who used it for a long time Nai is better.
As long as you don't mind:
- No way of supplementing the lack of model's knowledge
- Melty and fried backgrounds
- Retarded devs that can't test to save their lives and constantly ship stuff broken or updates that only make things worse
- Somehow they still have a blurrier model than Pony/Illustrious
- Abysmal upscaling options
- Scarce and poorly implemented featureset
- Godawful UI, I hope you like scrolling
- Did I mention that the devs are retarded and can't test for shit so they will actively spread misinformation on how to use the model?
- Somehow worse anatomy/coherency than Illustrious, depending on style you still have a low hit rate for hands in 2025
- You can't automate generations without risking a ban so over time local will be able to make more pics
There are reasons to use NAI, mainly it's on the cloud, it's fast, and it IS the smarter, more advanced model, if you can get it to do what you want. Personally I still think it's a base image generator, and the best use for it is if you're gonna give the gens an additional pass through local models, if you're fine with that or if you really want a simple cloud option it's fine. But it's 2025 and it's still trading blows with an architecture that is 2 years old, if you aren't looking at it in isolation it's an embarrassing model. But hey at least the devs remembered that illustrations are supposed to have details when they baked 4.5! And now it's only slightly less sharp than Illustrious! Now let's just hope flooding it with the furry dataset won't ruin the model again.
