>>82231411>>82231881this remains to be seen but since Mumei represents the concept of Civiliization itself (the epitome of the human spirit enforcing its power and order on the Chaos of the universe) perhaps Mumei's end goal in manipulating history, using the rest of the ENs as pawns and sacrificing millions throughout time is all for the purpose of advancing humanity and overthrowing the gods themselves in the end, since this is the natural conclusion to her inherent nature - the older gods knew from the start that merely by humanity existing they would invent Civiliization and this would inevitably lead to Mumei and this end so the rest of Council was summoned (unknowingly) to befriend Mumei and contain her but they didn't outright prevent Moom from existing since they need Civillization to exist so that Ame can be born to stop the encroachment of the Ancient Ones on their universe (this is why they didn't interfere with Ame stealing Kronii's watch for her timetravel shenanigans)
Mumei is a necessary evil to stave off the Ancient Ones but even the gods themselves underestimate the sheer will to power of Civillization and the Nameless Manipulator and Moom will still be the final boss in the end, the manifest epitome of the concept of Order, the antithesis of Chaos inexorably leading her into a climatic conflict with her bestie and gf Hakos Baelz in a tragic clash that will shake the very foundations of reality
Ame is the protagonist but is an unwitting pawn of both the older gods AND the Nameless Manipulator and her loyalties will be ultimately tested in the end however just as Mumei is inevitable with the invention of human Civiliization, so too is the summoning of IRyS, the symbol of Hope in the hearts of all mankind, and, just as Moom was released from the cube at the moment of Civillization's dawn, so too was IRyS inevitably drawn to descend onto our world (because the cube is like Pandora's box in which, after all the evils of the world are released, Hope lies at the very bottom). As long as IRyS exists on our world, Ame can never truly lose and reality will not come to ruin in the final clash between Order and Chaos however it will not end without great suffering and sacrifice, for that is the unescapable harsh truth of this world
