>>71865607im guessing this isnt the artist but love you too. in times like these taking things slow is extremely necessary when our brains are so burnt out we cant find enjoyment in things we used to. i went through periods of time where id never find the motivation to do a piece and at most did mindless doodles on the sides of papers without paying any mind to if it looked good or not. its ok to make art that comes out looking wonky. do not hold yourself up to the expectations that you should be doing something because you feel like you HAVE to do it to be considered an "artist" (or a worthwhile member of society, rather) its okay to disconnect from this stuff for awhile and recharge. for me i was essentially in a limbo until i stumbled upon holostars and actually felt like creating art for once. while it probably wasn't the boys themselves i think it was finding something new that was in stark contrast to how mundane my life felt before. thats why i recommended to go find something new, sometimes you just need to discover something so out of left field it snaps you out of brain fog. don't look at art for awhile if itll help, if you feel like creating something, do so without holding yourself down by whether it looks good or it's correct.
>>71866018judging by the things youve told us in this thread, you've accomplished a LOT. you went out to see what would help and even if it didn't work, you still tried, i think that's a big accomplishment in itself. its fine to just not draw for ages, many artists do it. you're still going to be an artist even if you just never create again. it's something you want to do and you've put work and effort into doing it, take a break and see if it helps, no matter how long.
i can understand the feeling of disinterest when you have all these forms of entertainment at your feet. dont force yourself to dabble in them, dont shove yourself into this box of "oh, i need to be like the rest of society where they can do these things with ease. something is wrong with me." do not continue holding yourself to suffocating standards.
its okay to rot for awhile. if you don't feel like doing something, dont do it. don't berate yourself for being like this, you've done alot already and if i were you id just take a break from everything and do whatever takes the least effort that i can handle doing. return to worm, you're a nice person and its alright to not do things for awhile if you dont feel like it. dabble in your gacha women if it'll help. i dont know if these paragraphs are helpful i just wanted you to know that artists go through these slumps aswell
