>>19468217I grew up with the game. MTG, at least in the Southern US, is a played popular TCG. YGO or Pokemon would be second. The game is great, WotC/Hasbro is not, but between Commander, various constructed formats and limited there's a ton of ways to play.
It is also a great social game. We have a saying "come for the Magic, Stay for the Gathering" that is true. My whole life before Covid was MTG, my job and free time. That being said, I don't like Arena that much. I think MTG is best played in paper.
