Alana doesn’t see every CoD game taking up a quarter of your hard drive space, constantly deleting and redownloading shaders wasting both your time and your bandwidth, the lack of optimization on newer titles, the plague of SBMM that has been killing the newer entries for years now, the hackers (totally not on Activision’s payroll) that live on older CoDs to instakill you and steal your info the second you spawn in, the absolute ARROGANCE of Infinity Ward, and how they refuse to fix ANYTHING in their games, from meta focused on soundwhoring footstep audio with no counters, to having the most aggregious SBMM out of all three studios, to absolute SLOP campaigns that turned the gritty realistic tone of MW19 to pure capeshit, all while Activision treats them with the DAINTIEST of kiddy gloves compared to Treyarch and Sledgehammer…
Does she know any of that? Nah, she just goes “CoD bad cuz big boss fight lol”, because that’s all she sees in the fucking clips she reacts to. She could never COMPREHEND just how shit every single mechanic of this franchise truly is, and it pisses me off that I know EXACTLY what she doesn’t know. I wish I was stupider, so I could live in blissful ignorance of how awful this series is like Alana does and just mock it from afar without dwelling on how much I’ve lost over the years.
