>>56336869>>56336920>>56337323I watched a video about a guy who's designed a PC around a single 120V outlet. 1600W, 144GB VRAM. Thing has 6 GPUs and costs $15K but it can run top-of-the-line unfiltered LLMs in real-time. That's what exists already. A PC like that could be the brain of your future AI wife.
The real problem is that an actual physical robot as a domestic assistant hasn't made it nearly as far. $15K is chump change compared to the millions it cost Boston Dynamics to make their top of the line bots. Those at least move incredibly well, but BD is making them for the military, not for you and me. If you look at what's a little bit closer to the commercial / entertainment space you have something like Ameca by Engineered Arts which is just creepy uncanny valley shit that would probably fall over if you looked at it funny.
We all shitpost so much with Blade Runner 2049 but holograms are much more likely to happen in a reasonable timeframe than actual sex bots.
>>56337629If humans need to hear dissenting opinions ~23% of the time to feel like what they're talking to is "real" an AI will figure it out. I think this is already not a problem, if you were diligent enough in crafting a bot, and weren't trying to use something "assistant" based like ChatGPT.
