Oooh I’m having a bit of a shopping spree mood today, so a Matsun shopping yume scenario is an order! I apologize for the weird POV switches and just a heads up, there’s a small bittersweet quote in the end.
Ahh nothing like shopping at Miniso in my local mall. As I was browsing at the Sanrio mini blind boxes, Matsun was carrying all the other bags full of cute trinkets that I got from other stores. I even insisted that he doesn’t have to carry all those bags for me since I’m the one that bought all those items in the first place, but every time I try to reach out to grab a bag from him, he flicks or swats my hand away and tells me that this is a good way for him to work out a little. “Well… he’s getting slightly chubby but it’s not too concerning.” I thought. Regardless, I continue to browse at the blind boxes while Matsun waits for me.
However, he then finds himself browsing some of shelves. It’s very rare for him to go to these types of stores and browse in peace, there always has to be that one douchebag that ruins the fun and judges a man that shops for cute items. Well, not this time. He has a good excuse now.
“Just this one box please, it’s for my girlfriend.” He quietly mutters as he wants this specific item to be a surprise gift. He then paid for the item and quickly sneaked back near her and continued to wait until she’s done browsing.
I finally finished browsing and told him that I will just get a blind box next time since I already spent so much money already. We then decided to rest in one of the mall’s sitting areas. Matsun then gifts me the mini blind box he bought.
“Aww Matsun! You didn’t have to!” I excitedly said as I started opening it. In the back of his head he hopes that his luck is good and he got the box that has her favorite character… which he forgot who it was.
“Oh! Matsun look it’s my favorite, Hangyodon!” She happily said
“What…? That’s her favorite Sanrio character?” He thought but quickly pretended that he knew all along that was her favorite.
I giggled as I put him my purse and then kiss him on the cheek. I told him that I was really grateful for going shopping with me and I asked if he wanted to go somewhere to browse or buy something for him. He thought for a long moment before picking up all the bags to prepare to go to the next shop.
He then spoke, “I want to go to a specific perfume shop, I heard an interesting collab was happening there and I want to check it out.”
