This game is cursed in that it does have a lot of depth, so you can always get better, but the returns on improvement get so much smaller the better you are, and that factored in with how much luck is still involved so these small returns are only realized over a lot of games. Then combined with how addicting this game is, it's truly a recipe for destroying ones soul.
All the long time players are miserable, while the new players are happy and enjoying themselves, and yet we continue to groom them down the path to hell.
