I guess the point is that I'd prefer to be cucked by someone who makes me feel insecure rather than an ugly bastard or otherwise a douche who has no redeeming qualities aside from his dick. Some people definitely prefer the latter but there's room for more realistic character-driven nuance when the girl actually has human agency instead of picrel being treated as a given.
