>>96844648Hard agree. It's interesting how many people on /vt/ fail to grasp this dilemma in particular. I don't know if it has to do with a lack of job/life experience or if they're just looking for a reason to shitpost but there's a reason why artists experience artists block, writers experience writers block, and streamers just stop enjoying playing games or talking, for that matter. It's not that easy to get over psychological problems even if said job may bring in money when you do it, if anything multiple neuroscientists have already proven that money doesn't help with happiness/psychological issues anyway.
Some people are also just not built for a certain environment or a line of work for an extended period of time. Pekora is still going strong streaming 10 hours everyday because she's mentally built for streaming, but not everyone will be the same or will want to put up with entertaining thousands of folks for that many hours. Some need to be alone because they're introverts, or they want to spend time with their family and whatnot. It's really not as black and white as people seem to think.
