One time I went up there in the middle of the night because of the annoying racket and I switched the outside light on to see a black bear the size of a driving lawn mower digging his nose into one of the hanging feeders he had ripped from the wall. Once he realized he wasn't alone, he booked it, but we could still hear him huffing and moving around inside the nearby treeline that meets my backyard.
He was probably annoyed that he got caught. I live relatively rurally where I only have two close neighbors and the main road is a few miles away.
