>>25262171I think the medium (vtubing) and the sport (Football in this instance) doesn't lend itself well to coexisting. Not to say that it couldn't, but, at a base level most of the people involved in vtubing don't tend to involve themselves much with traditional professional sports. Which is why you see (at best) some involvement in e-sports (league, OW, COD, FGC, etc.).
I think you might find some folks would do some trad sports streams ironically, playing a FIFA or Madden, possibly a Tecmo Bowl. But, I wouldn't hinge your enjoyment of a streamer based on something semi-competitive. Shit, I would say the most competitive they ever get are with their /numbers/.
