I clean my cats litter boxes (they have 4 big litterboxes) about 10+ times a day so basically when im awake. I clean it every time after they used it. Also they are all spayed/neutered which reduces the smell of their piss (the smell of unneutered male cats is horrible and i dont want kittens) and neutered/spayed cats dont mark (piss) into random spots in your appartment to attract mates which also causes a lot of the smell. If your cats dont have a clean litterbox they WILL piss on your clothes and whatever and wont use the litterbox as they need a clean litterbox to use (i mean would you go on a toilet thats covered in shit and piss?). You might not be able to get 100% rid of the cat "smell" but you can reduce it by 90% by taking proper care them and you need to ventilate (idk the proper term 90% my english is self taught by playing jrpgs/visual novels) your appartement several times a day by opening your windows. I still can smell cat piss i didnt get used to the smell, if i enter a appartement with people that dont take proper care of that stuff the smell fucking hits me like a truck (talking about people that clean their cats litter boxes once a week like fucking hell, once and a day is the absolute minimum it needs to be cleaned)
I might be depressed as fuck and given up on myself but i do still take proper care of my cats and make sure my apartement is clean and tidy. I cant stand it if my apartment isnt clean or smells like cat piss/shit. Cats are living beings so you should take proper care of them. I really cant stand people that neglect their pets or children for that matter, my parents were like that and i wont take after them. One reason i wont norway as long as my cats are alive is that i wont abandon my cats just because my life is shit. Its not like these guys bear any of the blame so i just push through the chronic pain and stuff for their sakes.
Enough cat blogging people asked about it so i thought i might as well say what i know about that stuff, back to sleep for now (8 hours isnt enough sleep after staying up for 25 hours). Keep the thread alive anons, i havent been around the past week myself as ive been depression sleeping all of last week.
