Even if we "adopted" a new form of magic, because of how chuubanite is written, it's always going togo back to "what does this look like in the form of a chuubanitrophic equation?", I think the best parallel I can put to it is Hyper Geometry in Delta Green, Hyper Geometry is just fucking magic but the kind of magic where scientists in a lab are using blood as a catalyst for a regenerating serum and the kind where a tribal shaman is sacrificing a child for a good harvest are the same magic. Both require ritual procedures but neither is going to recognize what the other is doing or even call it by the same name.
