Finally listened to the new song and fell in love with it immediately. If Agape was Kanata's gift to heimin then this surely is her gift to herself, it's so "her". As much as I love idol songs and charasongs, this is the kind of composition I appreciate on a personal level, like beyond just "vtuber music". The motif, the amount of musical details, the chord changes leading you through highs and lows, the gentle longing, it's all there. Probably one of my favorite orisons now in general, not just in Hololive. I am deeply pleased too see Kanata put up exactly the kind of song I wanted to hear - twice in a row now. Still didn't cry on the first listen so I'm looking forward to the live version and more hard-hitting stuff in the future
I'm glad I haven't been watching new Chilla's kusoge at all since we'll probably get a playthrough rather soon.
